German WWII Fireman's Bayonet, Unusual Dirlam & Sohne Maker

Original period manufacture. A very clean 9.75 inch chromed steel blade displaying the unusual Dirlam & Sohne logo on the ricasso. Leather washer is in place on the base of the blade, chrome finished guard and pommel, with no issues, very sound and damage free black plastic grips. Heavily lacquered black paint finish steel scabbard with most of it remaining. Good size dent in the surface on the reverse about 3 inches up from the tip. The paint surface is unusually thick to my eye, and may be an old repaint, but done long ago.
