Original period manufacture. A well marked folding shovel with wooden handle, partial waffenamt proof (163 or 63) and makers initials R.T. and a date of 1940. Blue steel finish to the blade, bakelite locking nut works properly. Sound and complete presstoff & leather belt carrier which is coded jhg and dated 41. Shovels are common, carriers are scarce.
