Original era manufacture. An unusual brooch measuring 45 mm in width, with a pinback reverse which is numbered 356.Silver colored alloy with the intertwined letters NSF on the obverse, with a motto or slogan around the edge, "Haus Fur Soziale Hilfsarbeit, Altdorf".One of the souvenirs brought home from WWII by a US Army officer who served with the 282nd Combat Engineers.
