This is the last of three very nice original works of art by famed military artist Brian Molloy of Wales. We met Mr Molloy many years ago at the MAX Show in Pittsburgh, where we contracted him to design the Logo for Stewarts Military Antiques. During that time we purchased other works of his in addition to a commission painting of our Civil War Reenacting Unit, the 23rd New York. Mr Molloys work has appeared in many military publications including works by Colonel Tom Johnson. This painting was done by Mr Molloy in 1982 and is signed and dated by him in the lower right corner. The image depicts a German Infantryman in Parade Marching Order and is our favorite of the three we have here. Framed and matted and ready for display.
