Original era manufacture. Early quality dagger with nickel fittings and a brown scabbard finish. The blade shows age staining with traces of original cross grain polish peeking through. On the reverse of the blade portions of the original Rohm presentation can be seen which escaped the attention of the grinding wheel. Good motto to blade finish contrast. Mellow patina upper and lower guards with both grip emblems in place, the lower guard is Ha marked. There is a sizable chip in the grip just below the upper guard on the reverse side. Dent free scabbard body with a mix of finish and steel patina with a light peppering of surface corrosion. Typical, but light denting to the ball tip. One fitting screw each missing from the upper and lower scabbard fittings.
