Original period manufacture. Dark brown bakelite body maker marked BRAUN MANULUX on both sides, interestingly there is a waffenamt proof stamped into one grip panel, WaA588.The light no longer operates, and it does not appear to be able to remove the grip plates for inspection. Otherwise sound for display. Original WWII German souvenirs brought home by a US Army 3rdInfantry Division veteran Mr. Robert Gelhoff of Wisconsin. These items were obtained by Mr. Gelhoff during his service in WWII. He served with the 3rdDivision throughout WWII, seeing combat in North Africa, Sicily, Anzio, Southern France and Germany.
