Original era manufacture. Norwegian capture K98 rifle stock which comes complete with the following hardwood stock and upper handguard, upper and lower barrel bands, bayonet lug, band spring, recoil bolt and flat buttplate. The serial number 4201, or 01, is marked on all of the metal fittings except for the band spring, recoil bolt and stock discs. In addition the waffenamt code of 77 is visible. The stock itself is very clean, no dowel reinforcements, no cracks or major abrasions. Typical Norwegian renumbered buttplate.
