Original era manufacture. A very clean, non-Norwegian capture K98 rifle stock which comes complete with the following; hardwood stock and upper hand guard, upper and lower barrel bands, bayonet lug, band spring, recoil bolt and flat butt plate. The stock is sound, with good color and dark blue finish to the metal fittings, and a very clear eagle waffenamt stamped into the stock face, WaA135, and an additional eagle proof on the underside of the stock at the wrist.The front barrel band I do not believe to be of WWII German manufacture, the band spring is unmarked, as is the rear barrel band.
