Original era manufacture. Norwegian capture K98 rifle stock which comes complete with the following; hardwood stock and upper handguard, upper and lower barrel bands, bayonet lug, band spring, recoil bolt and flatbutt plate. Mostly matching, 5949, except the upper handguard, and the band spring looks to be unmarked.  A waffenamt code of WaA214 is visible, the butt plate has Norwegian applied serial number, with the original serial number being struck through, as normal.The stock displays normal age and wear with a good color and no cracks or chips in the wood, just the typical dings and dents from service use. Small blob of white paint on the left side as shown.
