Original era manufacture. Norwegian capture K98 rifle stock complete with the following; Hardwood stock, upper handguard, bayonet lug, upper & lower barrel bands, barrel band spring, recoil bolt and flat buttplate. All components display a variety of serial numbers and waffenamt proofs, faint letter H (Heer) stamp & eagle proof on the right butt face. Surface shows a postwar applied varnish finish. Norwegian renumbered buttplate. Clean and solid example.
