Original era manufacture. An example of the classic WWII German Heer officers visor hat, made by the famous firm of EREL and displaying that name on both the sweatshield and sweatband. The hat is basically quite sound, tight stitching, not crushed or flattened and sporting a very nice embroidered officers quality wreath on the band. It also has some fairly severe mothing on the left-front underside of the top and on the dark green piping, hence the price. An honest WWII souvenir, purchased from our seller who has owned it since the 1970's.
