Original era manufacture. Classic WWII German Army steel helmet, maker and size marked EF66, original decal as shown. Sound original leather liner, no damage to the leather fingers, and the original adjusting string is present. Ink stamped onto the liner is the unit designation for "Inf. Nachr. Ers. Kp. 289". Original rivets with slot washers, no chinstrap. Lightly scrawled on the surface in what appears to be crayon, is a Hippie Peace Sign on the back, and on the right rear quarter a flower. These have faded over time and are really not that noticeable. We have not made any attempt to remove them as they represent part of the helmet's history.
