Original era manufacture. German WWII Army steel helmet, complete, NS64 marked on the skirt. Most of the original factory finish remains on the helmet, with the original Heer pattern decal as shown. Complete leather liner with drawstring intact, worn, but pliable and unbroken original leather chinstrap dated 1940 and maker marked.  All three rivets are in place, matching paint, with slot washers present. A great example of a WWII German Army helmet with a wonderful "been there" patina.
