Item #69975 : Original period manufacture. Brown leather service belt with a silver washed, pebbled surface, zinc frame buckle. The belt measures 43 inches in length, at one time had a pale gray wool felt covering to the reverse. Maker marked and dated at the fold-over next to the buckle. The reverse center of the belt has a horizontal leather tab to which a metal D ring is provided for the shoulder strap. The leather shoulder strap is of a different shade of leather, with bright silver washed pebbled surface finish. Makers logo but no name.
