Original period manufacture. A private purchase feldgrau wool service tunic with pink-piped collar tabs and shoulder straps in the rank of Major. Dark green wool collar with original sewn collar tabs. The original shoulder straps are in the rank of Major, but are not a left & right, rather both are right side straps. Period replacement, maybe, more likely postwar installed. Full sleeve and body lining, dagger/sword suspension strap, tailor label in the collar. Scattered minor mothing to the body, original sewn wire eagle, and a two-place ribbon bar on the left side. Size about a 38 regular.
