Original era manufacture. Interesting grouping of two large appointment certificates, one during the Nazi era and the other during the reign of Kaiser Wilhelm I. The Imperial document promotes one Dr. Paul Schedler to the battalion Doctor of the 89th Infantry Regiment in 1886. The Nazi era document was for his son, also a Doctor, from Oberstagsarzt to Oberfeldarzt in 1941. The name was cut-out of the nazi document for fear of reprisal. Facsimile signatures of both Kaiser Wilhelm I and Hitler. Normal age and wear.
