Original period manufacture. Early quality alloy buckle showing good detail and a RZM code forward of the catch. RZM M4/46, Wilhelm Schroder& Co. Ludenscheid. A black leather adjusting tab has been added to the buckle at some point, appears to be period to the buckle, perhaps done by the original owner. Pleasing patina to the metal surfaces.
