Original era manufacture. Double sided, cotton, machine sewn construction of three separate panels with a white diamond and printed black swastika. Sleeved at one end for hanging. It is quite clean, with a small Z-shaped tear in the fabric next to the swastika diamond. It measures 15 mm in length, and about 8 mm in width at its widest point. There are some small, almost pinhole tears next to it, about 6 in all, the widest being about 2 x 2 mm.One of the souvenirs brought home by a US Army officer who served with the 282nd Combat Engineers.
