Original period manufacture. A well worn example of the standard HJ knife, makers logo on the reverse side and the Blut und Ehre motto on the obverse. The blade tip has been modified and shortened a bit at some poing in time, however the motto is very readable and the Wingen logo is quite clear as well. The grips are sound but show wear, mostly on the reverse grip panel, the grip emblem is intact but darkened from age. Little of the black scabbard paint remains with a nice steel patina overall. Intact leather belt loop and pommel strap.
