Original period manufacture Standard pattern HJ knife with a motto blade, Eikhorn Solingen and RZM M7/66. Overall the knife shows considerable "kid" wear in the form of a sharpening attempt on the forward part of the blade, some nicks in the blade edge near the point, and evidence of an old cleaning. Wear to the chrome finish on the guard and pommel, the steel scabbard is fairly devoid of the painted finish and the pommel strap is missing. Still an early example, 38 stamped on the ricasso.
