Original era manufacture. This is an interesting variant of this popular little knife. Maker marked with the SMF seated king logo on both the ricasson and scabbard throat, first one we've seen like this. The blade shows a mix of age graying and staining, with very clear markings and a rather deep Blut und Ehre motto, lightly sharpened on the cutting edge. The grips are sound with an undamaged HJ diamond, finish wear on the back side of the pommel. The scabbard is free of dents and also free of any of its original black paint finish. The leather belt loop and pommel strap are intact but show wear and flaking to the surface.
