Original period manufacture. A well used example, yet remaining fairly complete. Typical of the HJ knives, in that as they were worn by children, they often present a hard-used condition...this one is no exception.The blade retains its proper configuration, with the makers RZM code, M7/13 (Schuttelhofer) ,found on the reverse ricasso.The blade presents an even steel patina finish with normal staining, but without corrosion pitting.The guard and pommel show wear to the plated finish, but again, no pitting to the surface. Sound black plastic grips with an intact HJ enameled emblem. No scabbard
