Original period manufacture. A complete example, non-motto blade, made by Jacobs & Sohne, RZM Code M7/118. The blade is clean, showing evidence of an old cleaning, maker marked on the reverse ricasso. Chrome plated guard and pommel. The enameled diamond is sound, the reverse grip plate has a missing section near the upper rivet. Black painted steel scabbard showing wear and use, intact leather belt loop and pommel strap.
