Original era manufacture. A nice quality bronze Infantry Assault badge, with it's maker mark on the reverse to the right of the rifle, GWL. Mix of zinc patina and original wash. See page 162, figure 7.26, The Infantry Assault Badge by Sascha Weber, for a similar example.
