Original era manufacture. Excellent detail in this die struck zinc badge. No makers marks that I can see, couldn't find a similar example in the book Infantry Assault Badges by Weber. Lots of silver was remaining around the pin hinge and catch, with traces remaining on the obverse. Needs an attaching pin.
