Original era manufacture. A very nice example of the classic Infantry Assault badge by Wilhelm Hobacher of Vienna, with it's maker mark WH on the reverse just below the hinge. Most of the original silver wash remains front and back. See page 46, figure 2.06, The Infantry Assault Badge by Sascha Weber.
