Original era manufacture. A very nice example of the classic Infantry Assault badge by Wilhelm Hobacher, with it's maker mark on the reverse just below the hinge. Nearly 100% of the original silver wash remains front and back. See page 46, figure 2.06, The Infantry Assault Badge by Sascha Weber.
