German WWII Infantry Officer Uniform Set, Overcoat, Tunic & Breeches

Original era manufacture. This is a sound, collector assembled set, which match well in size and color. Standard four pocket, M1936 officers tunic, in a ribbed gabardine material, with a dark green wool collar. Hand sewn breast eagle, machine sewn collar tabs which appear to have been replaced at some point but are a proper match to one another, original sewn shoulder straps in the rank of Captain, with numbers for the 14th Regiment. The interior is lined in a gray cloth material with an integral sword/dagger hanger strap and snap hook, and a pocket in the left chest area. The lining of the tunic shows some wear and use, but remains quite sound for display and is certainly not ragged or torn. There is a repairable hole in the interior of the tunic, opposite of the buttons, measuring 10x20 mm.   The exterior of the tunic exhibits to be expected wear, with fraying on the cuff ends, and a few small scattered moth bites. Loops for a ribbon bar and two badges can be found on the left side.The breeches are of a similar material as the tunic but in a slightly darker shade. All buttons are present, with no moth damage.The overcoat is of a heavier wool material in feldgrau, again with a dark green wool collar, and with matching rank and regiment numbered Infantry shoulder straps. No moth damage to mention, and the overcoat is lined in an imitation gray silk material, similar to what can be seen on the interiors of military headgear of the era. Rank stars and regiment numbers are missing on the right strap. Overall a nice looking set, size about a 40 Regular.
