Original era manufacture. A very clean, magnetic center example of the WWII German Iron Cross 1st class. Maker marked L/11 below the catch. Most of the plating remaining on the edge frame, and frosting on the ribbing. Most finish remains on the reverse, with some light wear to its edges. Clean matt finish to the iron core, overall it presents quite well. Very sound original case with its white imitation silk hinge cover in place, spring loaded lock button, lid does lock in position.
