Original era manufacture. Magnetic center EK1 with lots of original plating remaining on the frame edge.All of the original finish remains on the iron core with no corrosion. Pleasing silver patina to the frame, ribbing and reverse. The original issue case is quite sound with a domed lid and outline of an EK in silver. The interior silk hinge cover is not torn and the pad has a nicely faded outline of the cross. Classic WWII medal, with a terrific vintage look to it.  On the reverse is an old price sticker, First Class $35, I remember those prices...my first EK2 was $6.00 in 1971.
