Original era manufacture. Magnetic, slightly vaulted Iron Cross 1st Class, maker marked below the catch, L/57, indicating manufacture by Boerger & Co. of Berlin. Mix of patina and original plating on the frame and ribbing, most of the original finish remains on the blackened core.
