Original era manufacture. Standard WWII EK2, however in this instance right out of the envelope and original tissue wrapping. Most of the original plating and frosting remains on the frame and ribbing, with all of the matt black finish remaining on the magnetic core. The suspension ring is maker marked 27, Anton Schenkl, Nachfolger Wien (Vienna). The EK comes wrapped in its original brown tissue, with the unused ribbon wrapped around the tissue covered EK. All fit neatly in its original light tan issue paper packet, the top of which has been carefully cut away. Likely the Schenkl name appeared there at one time and it was postwar removed to remove any hint of supporting the Nazi war effort.
