Original era manufacture. Early style canteen as used by all branches of the Wehrmacht during WWII. Brown wool felt cover, black leather harness and a black "jigger style" bakelite cup. Light scattered surface mothing to the cover, no major holes, the suspeension harness is intact, no cracks in the cup or screwtop. The cover fits the aluminum canteen body properly.
