German WWII Issue Enlisted Leather Hobnail Marching Boots

Original era manufacture. Original pair of the German Marschsteifel, or "dice shakers" in sound displayable condition. Heel to toe they measure 13 inches in length, and 14 inches in height. Original stacked leather heels with steel horseshoe reinforcement, steel toe cleats, with a fair amount of hobnails remaining on the soles. The left side boot top has a 2 inch tear in the leather, caused when the previous owner removed the boots from a display mannikin. Should be a fairly easy cosmetic repair by backing the tear with another piece of leather. The tops while still, are still pliable and remain very displayable.
