Original era manufacture. Standard issue pattern marching compass with a white stenciled letter A on the lid. Centimeter measure on one side, letter O for East, and still points North.One of the lid hinges is broken, however the lid opens and closes properly.   A very clean example in proper working order. Housed in a zippered leather case.
