Original era manufacture. Steel tobacco can with an ordnance gray painted finish, both top and bottom lids bear the makers code of cm? and date of 42, with the top displaying a waffenamt code as well. Contents include large & small brushes, floorplate tool (always seem to be missing) oil bottle and linked pull-through. The bottom compartment holds a hank of cloth waste for wiping and a shoot-off rubber muzzle cover. The can itself shows scattered denting and rust patina from age and use. We don't see these complete kits like we used too, but that goes for a lot of things anymore...
