Original era manufacture. A pre-war manufactured set of black pebbled leather, sewn construction with aluminum metal fittings. This set is a Russian capture set as the metal fittings have a black overpaint. Happily in this instance the rawhide dividers have not been removed as is so often the case with Russian capture pouches. In addition, a very interesting unit marking appears in the inside of one of the pouch covers, it appears to have something to do with a Cavalry instruction and demonstration unit attached to the 2nd Panzer Regiment. Very cool..
