Original era manufacture. An overall clean example, but looks to have had a postwar applied plated finish at one time. This was removed and reblued. The bayonet is complete in all respects, scabbard throat screw, flashguard, fairly clear early style waffenamt proofs on the pommel. The scabbard is dent-free with just a touch of surface corrosion. Sound wood grips, with a black leather dismounted pattern leather frog.
