Original era manufacture. Scarce Austrian made S84/98 bayonet coded bym, and dated 41. Mismatched, with the scabbard being marked S/175 and dated 1937. Dark plum bakelite grips in good repair, mostly steel patina finish overall, with traces of blue remaining. The blade is sound, unsharpened, and with a sharp point. The scabbard is very lightly dented along its length, more felt than seen, and the throat screwis present.
