Original era manufacture. A clean example of the WWII S84/98 bayonet, the blade is maker marked cqh and dated 1942, the scabbard S178G.  Dark plum bakelite grips. Clean finish blue steel blade with a sharp point, slightly bent. Steel patina finish to the guard and pommel. Mounted pattern black leather frog, missing the grip straps. Fairly dent free steel scabbard displaying a mix of blue and steel patina finish.
