Original era manufacture. A clean example of the WWII S84/98 bayonet, the blade is maker marked cqh and dated 1944, the scabbard aws 42.  Dark plum bakelite grips. Clean finish blue steel scabbard, with a very sound mounted pattern black leather frog. The bayonet has likely been Warsaw Pact refurbished, although the pommel waffenamt proof remains fairly visible. Original finish to the scabbard.
