Original period manufacture. Standard WWII K98 rifle bayonet, both blade and scabbard throat are fze (F.W.Holler) marked, the scabbard is dated 42 and the blade 43. Very clean blade with a sharp point, looks like a Warsaw Pact surface refinish, with a number stamped into the guard, 98. Dark plum bakelite grips in good repair. Original finish, and fairly dent free steel scabbard with its throat screw in place.
