Original era manufacture. German WWII matching K98 bayonet & scabbard, cvl 42 (WKC), 1983nn. Blue steel finished blade, with scattered spots of surface staining, no corrosion issues. Steel patina & light surface corrosion finish to the guard, flash guard and pommel, sound, original finish wooden grips. Steel scabbard which is lightly dented from service use, displaying a mix of steel patina and light surface corrosion finish. Very sound green canvas frog showing honest service wear.
