Original era manufacture. German WWII S84/98 service bayonet with matching numbers, 4116c, G date code, S/185 G, which tell us that the bayonet was produced in 1935 by the scarce maker, Elite Diamantwerk. Wood grips in sound condition, mix of the original satin blue finish and steel patina remains on the blade, scabbard, guard and pommel, with scattered areas of light surface scabbard dents. Throat screw is present.
