Original era manufacture. Standard S84/98 bayonet withthe blade showing the makers code of bym (Genossenshaft Mach, Ferlach-Karnten) and manufactured in 1944. Blue steel finished scabbard which is maker marked crs (Paul Weyersberg & Co.) and also dated 44. The blade is very clean with a reddish-blue finnish, no damage to the cutting edge or tip. Mix of blue and steel patina to the guard and pommel, reddish-brown bakelite grips. The scabbard is also quite clean with no surface denting and with it's throat screw in place.
