Original era manufacture. An early war production bayonet which matches by maker but not by serial number or date. Mundlos marked on blade and scabbard, with the blade dated 37 on the spine and scabbard dated 40. Lots of blue finish remaining with some scattered surface corrosion overal. Dark plum bakelite grips with some surface scratching and marring from service use. There is some denting to the flashguard surface while the scabbard body is dent-free. Clean overall.
