Original era manufacture. A non-matching bayonet but in very fine condition. Satin blue finish blade retains nearly all of it's original finish, full maker name on the reverse ricasso RICH.A.HERDER, 39 year date on the spine, 3084b serial number on the obverse ricasso. Very nice dark plum bakelite grips, mix of blue and steel patina to the guard and pommel with some light surface spotting. Lock button works as it should. Most of the original blue remains on the steel scabbard, throat screw is present but I cannot make out the makers name. Sound mounted pattern original frog which has had it's pommel straps removed.
