Original era manufacture. A very nice example of the classic German K98 bayonet of WWII. Most of the original finish remains on the blade and pommel, damage free dark red bakelite grips, with an operating lock button.Dent-free scabbard with a mix of original blue and steel patina, with light surface corrosion in evidence. Super clean black leather frog which is maker marked and dated 1939. The only flaw is the top of one of the aluminum rivets is missing. The pin and reverse of the rivet are present.
