Original era manufacture. A clean example with a satin blue finished blade maker marked 42 cof on the reverse ricasso. Most of the original finish remains on the blade with typical runner wear near the tip. Wooden grips in good order, no flashguard, mix of steel patina and blue finish to the pommel and guard. Dent-free steel scabbard, throat screw missing, sound dismounted pattern frog dated 1937.
