Original era manufacture. A clean example with a satin blue finished blade maker marked clc1942 on the reverse ricasso. Most of the original finish remains on the blade with typical runner wear near the tip. Dark plum bakelite grips in good order, mix of blue and steel patina to the guard and pommel. Clear waffenamts WaA519 on the pommel, working lock button. Clean original scabbard with some very shallow surface denting on each side, more felt than seen. Maker marked and dated on the reverse MUNDLOS 38. Mix of steel patina and a touch of blue finish. Waffenamt proof on the ball tip.
